Keg Cooling Equipment

    

Keg coolers are popular where cellar space is at a premium. This is often the case in a cafe or a wine bar. Keg coolers are also popular for cooling drinks at social events such as weddings, engagements, fetes, garden parties, birthdays and anniversaries.

Keg coolers are compact and designed to be portable and easy to install and operate. There is a keg cooler appropriate for every event, from 2 kg to 10 kg capacity.

Cellar Cooling Project - Southport

This cellar cooling project was in Taylor’s Bar, a new venture in Birkdale, Southport. The bar had previously been a butcher’s shop, owned by a butcher who was also a local celebrity, with his own band..! As part of the authentic design, seeking to retain a classic atmosphere, the bar follows the line of the original meat rails.

For the cellar cooling in Taylor’s Bar, we completed the installation with a digital controller with temperature display, to ensure that management can see and control the cellar equipment and product temperature at all times.

Ice Machine Service – Lancashire Golf Club

Many people think that cleaning an ice machine involves wiping it down with a damp cloth. This is far from the case. Unless an ice machine is serviced regularly, given its operating environment, it can develop a yeast build up. In this instance the ice machine had not been serviced for some time. We disconnected it, stripped and sanitized it. This involved cleaning the water system and evaporator and running an ice cleaner through it. Then finally we ran cold water through the system to remove the cleaning fluid.

Ice Machine Service – Southport Social Club

For this client we maintain the ice machine, cellar refrigeration, ice machines, bottle cleaners and air conditioning. We were called in after the client had tried to clean the ice machines himself – unsuccessfully, leaving them in a state of malfunction. We undertook a professional clean and returned the ice machines back to full, safe operational condition.

Kirkby, Liverpool, Social Club – Cool Room De-Commissioning

Here we have de-commissioned a full cool room for a social club in Liverpool. As one project we de-gassed the bottle coolers, cellar cooling and split system air conditioning system. Following the Ref F gas regulations we removed refrigerant 134A from the system of 24 bottle coolers.

The 20 air conditioning were running refrigerant 407C. We de-gassed the cellar cooling and all cold room units. We took the out of date refrigerant to a wholesaler, who sends it to a refrigerant supplier for destruction. We received certificates for our selves and the customer, to complete the certification process.

Liverpool Cooking Franchise Air Conditioning De-Commissioning

A franchise teaching people to cook took premises in Liverpool. The air conditioning and cooling system was a complete ‘bodge job’. All cooking was done at the same time and the company added a series of small spot coolers, which was totally inadequate. We were called in and disconnected and de-gassed the system before, removing the hardware prior to the premises being re-let.
